Lego Creations

Patrick and Adam both love playing with Legos. They build new creations all the time, and playing with Legos is their single favorite pastime these days. Patrick built this red jet all by himself, and Dad helped him build the white airplane (as seen in Indiana Jones, The Temple of Doom - Loa Che's airplane). Adam built his own airplane also. Adam has about 20 current creations he keeps in "his office" - his desk and shelves in his room.

A Peek Inside

Lately we've been getting to see baby girl each week. Here are some peeks on the inside ...

Most of the time she has her fist in her mouth or trying to get her fist in her mouth. She is 30 weeks here.

Here she is at 31 weeks, with her little nose all smashed against the uterine wall. Her mouth open again and looking for her fist.

Adam and the Tigers

Adam started playing soccer this season. He plays for the Tigers. For the first game he was selected to be the team captain. He won the coin toss!

Patrick loses his first tooth

New Year, New Memories

After the New Year we had several rounds of bad freezing weather. For 4 days we were iced in with no school and no where to go. After all the ice and snow melted here is what our boys found fun to do...

Our trash can was damming up the melted snow's run off.

They sat here and enjoyed the sunshine and warm air. It felt so good!

These are the days that I don't want to ever forget!

Pink!

Painting the nursery pink--a very light pink. Mom can't handle too much pink!

An Exciting Night

Christmas night was a very exciting night for us. As always we eat dinner with family and celebrate Dad's birthday too. Chocolate Mousse is always for dessert. We had one last gift to give Dad. Here he is opening it.

He was very shocked and doubted his gift.

Mom had been insistant on not finding out the gender of our baby, but Dad really really wanted to know. We were all very surprised!

We are expecting a little girl!!! And Adam immediately asked if we could name her Queen Amadala.

Christmas Morning

Merry Christmas! Happy Birthday Jesus and Happy Birthday Dad!

These first few photos were taken on Christmas Eve. Dad is the hardest person to shop for and the hardest person to surprise.

We had to hide one of his presents ...

Dad seriously needed a new broom. He also got an ipad but we didn't capture the photos.

Santa came and he wrapped our gifts this year!

It was all about Bionicles this year for Adam.

Legos and more Legos for Patrick.

This is Gresch...Adam has been waiting so patiently for him!

It was also a Christmas for little Lego People.

Tennis balls and lots of goodies for mom.

Adam has also been waiting for Buzz Lightyear.

This was a huge surprise for Patrick--Palpatine's Shuttle!

What's in your stocking? More Star Wars!

And our own bottle of coke!

The coke was the first thing Adam wanted opened.

Christmas Eve

I know it's March and I'm just getting around to Christmas. I have a lot of catching up to do-- a lot!

Here are some pics from Christmas Eve. After church and eating dinner with Aunt Allison, Uncle Matt, Katie, and Matthew. We came home to a family tradition and opening a few gifts.

Each year, the boys unwrap a baby Jesus to place in the empty mangers.

The "fancy" manger scene is their favorite, so in their opinion Adam was the winner this year.

Personally, I prefer this scene. Our mangers stay empty until Christmas Eve.

The boys have also been asking for Bibles.

Each year, our church has a Christmas store for the kids to come and buy handmade gifts for their families. The gifts are very inexpensive and the store wraps them up. You send you child to church with a few dollars and they come back with gifts for everyone! Our boys love it. All proceeds go to our sister church in Haiti. Adam had picked out this blinged out box for Grammy. The store had two, so we surprised him with his own. Adam is our collector and loves putting things in containers. He was so excited to have his own blinged out box!

This was probably the sweetest moment of our entire Christmas. Patrick decided to make a Lego kit for dad. It was a kit for Anakin's Starfighter. Patrick assembled the kit but included directions on how to reassemble if the ship broke. He was very insistant that dad read the instructions.

Class Christmas Parties

December, the time for class parites! Here is Adam after his Christmas Concert. He was so excited to see his dad in the crowd.

Back in the classroom we celebrated preschool style--juiceboxes and cookies.

Adam is our collector. And he was most excited about collecting the shiny confetti on the tables.
This is Grant, his friend that also loves Bionocles.

He is really beginning to love to color.

Adam and his friend Ben exchanging books.

Adam with his gingerbread man. He made his with a frown because he said that his man knows he is about to get eaten.

Patrick with his kindergaten class at Wellington. Here is Patrick and his buddies: Grant, Jonathon, and Brenden.

Patrick loves sitting next to Grant. Everyday we hear all about Grant.

Mom and Mrs. Holly are the room moms. Our party was snow theme, so here is Patrick having a snowball relay against Peyton.

Patrick giving Mrs. Galloway her Christmas gift. He is really loving kindergarten and Mrs. Galloway!

The Crib

While Mom was in New York with Grammy and Aunt Allison, the boys brought the crib out of storage and assembled it. Patrick has his class mascot, "Wiley the Wildcat" for the weekend. His assignment was to bring Wiley along and journal about their adventures together.
