This is Adam's video that he made this morning. All of the art work is done by him, but Dad did help him "white out" a mistake that terribly grieved Adam. You'll see what I'm talking about in the video. Thank goodness for White Out!

All of the music is provided by Adam. When he gets to Yoda, the green round figure, he begins singing Weird Al Yankovick's (sp?) Yoda song.

Also another important note...you need to cock your head to the left to better understand the action. We could not rotate the video. And notice that each of the figures are holding the correct color light saber. A true Star Wars fan would notice this.

Here is what's happening in Adam's own words...

It's Darth Vadar and he says, "don, don, don...." (the darth vadar song) Well he loses. and then he fights Yoda, and Yoda wins. And then Luke fights too and he wins.

Patrick's Video

This is Patrick's video that he made this morning. Dad videod and Patrick provided the sound effects. Here is what's happening in Patrick's own words...

Lightening McQueen stopped at the red light. He saw a truck that looked like Mack, but it was a Peterbilt. Lightening McQueen then said, "Ah, man!" Then the light turned green and then he turned around because he meant to sneak onto the road. But then the Peterbilt's back door opened. And then there was a spark. The spark flew into Lightening McQueen's eye and then he lost sight of where he was going. He got trapped in the boneyard. He saw all of the cars that were left out and smashed and broken and crashed. They all had scarey faces on the cars. Lightening McQueen saw the cars and then he screamed, "AH!!!" And then the last car, Lightening McQueen got stuck to it and the car yell, "Uhh!" The End!

Dad did help draw the last car in the boneyard.

Catching up!

I know, I'm terrible at this blog thing...well, before we begin, I must apologize about my last post. It really wasn't a post but the easiest way to send pics to my mom so she could help me select my Christmas card photo. Sorry for all the posts--Julia, I am talking to you! And honestly, I think you are the only one who reads this.

So Christmas and the holidays have come and gone and now January is leaving us too. We've been spending our time watching the boys draw, build, and pretend. Their lastest thing is too draw pictures, and then have Dad video their art and turn them into mini movies. Hopefully we'll get to post some of them soon.

At the moment they are upstairs playing in their spaceship that they have built. I've got to tell you that having two boys 19 months apart is really really really paying off at the moment. For the most part, they get along so well, are interested in the same things, and love playing together. We are reaping the fruits of our labor!

So the purpose of the blog is to really record the great moments in our lives. So here are a few things that the boys have shared with us lately....Adam loves loves chocolate. And I'm afraid he might be addicted. So the other night, Chris gave each of the boys a chocolate chip cookie. Patrick's throat was hurting, so he just took a nibble and left it on the table; of course Adam devoured his in one bite. Well a few minutes later, we hear Patrick screaming and crying, "He ate my cookie! He ate my cookie!" So when confronted, Adam claimed, "Well I had to eat the cookie to get to the chocolate!"...the boy loves chocolate, and there is a chocolate festival coming up in Grapevine and we have already marked our calendar.

This is another Adam story...the other day he came down the stairs just crying and crying and crying out, "I hurt my bottom! I hurt my bottom!" So after I calmed him down he explained that he had actually hurt his penis. He explained that the toliet seat and come down and closed right on him. So of course mom had to check it out, and bless his heart the tip was all bruised and purple--ouch! So I know this is crude, but he's what he said next..."Mom, can you please kiss it? Mom, can you please kiss it?" Don't worry, I didn't!

There isn't a specific Patrick story, but the boy loves to talk and use big words. He loves the words acutally, certain, situation, and cooperate. And he always starts with phrases like "I'm afraid to tell you this..." and "I'm sorry to interrupt..." I should really keep a better list, because daily, I'm amazed with the things he says. If he isn't going to be a lawyer, then it will be a waste of a talent. He is reading and beginning to enjoy writing. And still loves to argue!

Since our last post, Dad has big news...Chris was promoted at Pfizer. He is now a Customer Alliance Director! We are very proud of him!

And of course mom is busy painting an antique cabinet and waiting for some new upholstered chairs to arrive!
