Wow, this fall has been fast and fun for us! We've been to Disney World, Patrick turned 6, and we went camping with all the Fitkins. But the most exciting news...we're expecting a baby!!!!!
We learned about the pregnancy in late August, but have held off sharing our news. Our baby should arrive in late April or early May. We do not plan to peek; this time around, we want to wait and see what God gives us. Patrick is hoping for a girl, and Adam is hoping for a boy, which he wants to name Bambi.
Here he or she is at 13 weeks.

Mad for Plaid
This morning Patrick dressed himself for church and this is what he chose. He learned his first fashion rule this morning: only one piece of plaid!
He was so proud of himself!

I'm NOT wearing this shirt to school
Yesterday morning, I thought I would dress Adam in this nice button down shirt. But obviously he was not happy about it. This picture does not reflect the mood of the morning. He would not let me come too close to capture the tears.
He screamed, cried, and carried on, "I'm NOT wearing this shirt to school!" Adam explain that this shirt is boring and has no pictures on it. According to him, he ONLY wears shirts with pictures.
He was much happier!

So we compromised...If I could take a quick picture, he could go and pick out a new shirt. Of course he chose something green--his favorite color!
He was much happier!

Patrick's Fun Run
Today was the Wellington Fun Run. The Fun Run is the school's annual fundraiser and is a very big deal for the kids. The children raise money by finding pledges for every lap they run.
It being our first year, we just asked family and friends for a flat donation. Patrick raised 60 dollars and ran 45 laps!
Patrick and Brenden rounding the first corner.
He ran the entire time and never stopped for water. Long distance running might be his sport!
