Patrick goes to Kindergarten

With a blink of an eye, Patrick has grown into a kindergartner!

He was all smiles when Jonathon showed up. They are together in Mrs. Galloway's class.

He had a hard time falling asleep last night, but he looked very fresh and prepared!

He was very excited to have a desk, a locker, and computers in the classroom.

Mom was a bit teary, but not Patrick!

And when we picked him up, the first thing he said was, "Mom, I saw Cade and Collin at school!"

He had a great day, and then spent the afternoon on the sofa! The true test will be to see if he wants to go back tomorrow.

Adam's Nightly Prayers

Each night we pray with the boys and each night they have some sort of special prayer request.

For the last several months Adam has requested no scarey dreams. And he specifically asks for:

no scarey skeleton bad dreams
no James and the Giant Peach bad dreams
no Toy Story 3 monkey bad dreams

and the very latest and newest request is...

no fake people running around in circles bad dreams. Not sure what he means, but we pray for it anyway!

More Whislter Pics

If you look very closely there is a pic of me (mom) zip lining upside down. Lots of fun, but a little scarey!

The very best of our trip

So here we are white water rafting in Whistler, the very best part of our trip.
Several years ago, Chris and I sat down and wrote out our dreams, and white water rafting was on our list.
At first it seemed very simple and easy!

Then the water started moving, and the raft behind us flipped! The water was freezing! But what an adventure!

Our Whistler Trip

Here are some pics from our Whistler trip. The weather was absolutely perfect, and daylight lasted till 10:00. We had a great time.

Here are me and Jamie gearing up for some zip lining.

Here is Chris on his first line. He was a little bit nervous, but he claimed that the official definition of bravery is when one acts even though they fear. He proved to be brave!

While we there, the flowers were everywhere and absolutely gorgeous. It was also mountain bike season, so I had to capture a little bit of both.
